Floery Mahoney

DVBB Founder & Trainer

Floery is the creator of the Da Vinci BodyBoard system. Trained in Pilates and aware that the core of the body is the basis of all strength, she developed the BodyBoard system to treat the body as a whole. Based in the charming desert community of Santa Fe, the flagship studio represents a new approach to fitness with a focus on wellness, strength, longevity, and full-body integrity.

Karen Schardt 

Da Vinci Body Studio Co-Owner

Karen, a native New Yorker, moved/retired to Santa Fe in 2013 after a long career as a fundraiser for major universities such as Columbia and Johns Hopkins. An avid hiker, rider and lover of the outdoors, she was looking for a new form of exercise. She found DaVinci Body Board in August, 2016 and loved it so much that she became a partner in the flagship Santa Fe studio in October, 2017.

 

Julie Baros

Trainer

Julie has worked in the fitness industry for almost 20 years as an AFAA certified Group Fitness Instructor.  She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Counseling and Family Studies from the University of New Mexico. She has taught at gyms throughout New Mexico and is passionate about helping others reach their goals, while gaining strength and confidence. When she's not helping others "sweat it out," Julie enjoys spending time with her husband, sons, family, and friends. 

 

Stevie Staley 

Trainer, Esthetician, Nutritionist

A Colorado Native, Stevie has worked in the health and wellness industry for 15 years. She has a background in Nutrition and Kinesiology and works as a functional nutritional consultant and health chef. As a fitness enthusiast Stevie was hooked in minutes with the Da Vinci BodyBoard finding it to be a completely innovative method to accesses the body. She enjoys the reward of helping others actualize their goals.

 

Megan Keller 

Trainer

Megan joins the DVBB team instructing after attending classes for over a year. A lifelong athlete but not really into the “gym” workout, she found the Bodyboard method to be a perfect fit for her, not only for the completely amazing workout it provides, but for the inclusive and welcoming community at the studio. 

 

Prisma Avery

Trainer

Prisma loves uplifting her community and instilling a sense of accomplishment in every single person who comes to class. She believes in sweating it out and leaving feeling like a rockstar! Prisma fell in love with barre five years ago when she was craving a fun and new workout. After teaching barre for various studios for the last three years, she couldn’t be more delighted to teach a new type of barre, which combines the incredible DVBB method and barre movements for an awesome, full body workout! 

 

Michelle Montoya

Trainer

Michelle has been a certified personal trainer/wellness coach for 15 years and holds certifications in level I nutrition, TRX, Da Vinci BodyBoard, Active/ Isolated Stretching as well as Energy Mastery and Bars which. She works with all ages to develop strength conditioning, flexibility and balance however, she especially enjoys working with clients 50 and over. She also specialises in helping many people make gains in their tennis game as she is a tennis player herself. Her Goal is to help people achieve overall wellness inside and out!

 

Kylie Strijek

Pilates Instructor

Kylie graduated from Siena College in upstate New York with a degree in Marketing. After an extensive competitive golf career, Kylie began taking Pilates classes to restore her body. She fell in love with the program and decided to become an instructor, completing the Core Dynamics training in 2018. Kylie joined DVBB after completing her training and has enjoyed every minute of it. She loves to help her community reach their fitness goals and become longer, leaner, and stronger than ever!
